Valhalla was started in Miami by underwriters and operators who spent years watching credit-worthy businesses get declined for reasons that had nothing to do with whether they could repay. A thin file. Two seasonal months. An industry code a bank compliance committee did not like. Meanwhile the owner had made payroll for nine straight years and had a signed contract in hand.
